Hey Nick, I agree with your fourth point about the delivery services making people lazier. It seems as though every advancement in technology is an opportunity for people to become lazier than we were yesterday. On the other hand, if we are in fact getting perpetually lazier and less social, then how are we advancing as a society the way we are portrayed? (rhetorical) This phenomenon is mind boggling to me, and I guess it’s something that’ll be uncovered over time.
ReplyDeleteHey Nick, I think that your news stories were all very interesting and worth discussing. It is crazy that Desantis is thinking about changing the scholarship program for private schools. That could be a good opportunity for private schools and their students. I also think it's cool that they are trying to expand delivery services in Gainesville. This is a big problem for me because I do not have any form of transportation to get food and this is a great improvement.
