The Art of Social Media by Guy Kawalsk
This book was very relatable because it gave me information and the inside scoop on social media. It related the new technology now a days to business and thats why I thought it was very interesting.
This is very relatable to this class because it goes into depth of how social media can effect business. Much about ENT3003 is about your opinion and your ideas and I think that is mainly what social media is and that is very helpful. Although sometimes ads on social media may not help but if you know how to use it to your advantage it can help you in a big way.
If I had to create an assignment for this class I would make the students make a website that described their product to the readers and the rest of the world. I would also make the students post this on their social media's and see how much feedback they get.
Overall from reading this book I have learned that social media can be a huge asset if you use it in the right way to broadcast your product.

It is pretty much absolutely necessary now for you to have a large social media presence if you want to be successful in your business. It is a huge marketing tool and definitely should be taken advantage of. This seems like an interesting book!

ReplyDeleteHey Nick. Great job on your analysis of this book. I also read this book earlier in the semester, and I thought it was very helpful, informational, and entertaining. It gave a lot of great insight into how social media is benefiting society, by making us more creative and proactive in our creative activities. This is refreshing, because it seems like people normally focus on the negatives of technology, specifically in social media use. This book can definitely apply to entrepreneurship because of how important social media marketing is to modern companies. Overall, great job.
