28A Your Exit Strategy

I agree that is definitely something to look into about our future and plan for the upcoming. Although many people would sell their business to receive a good amount of money to start up something else or get a new job, I personally would continue my business and pass it down to my family members to set up my family for success.

I would continue to keep my business open for as long as I can because it is something that will be needed for a while because as long as college is still going they will always need library space.

This assignment has helped me out a lot because many people once they see money the want to sell their business because all of the large corporations are looking to buy it and offer good prices. From this assignment I learned that I would continue my business to as long as I could so I could pass it down to my family and set them up in the future.

  1. Hey Nick. I really like your idea for an exit strategy. I am glad that you were able to come up with a solid plan for getting out of your company if need be. I think that you are well on your way to developing a plan to leave the company which is a good thing to do when creating a company. Great job on this post, Nick.

  2. Hey Nick, I think that holding on to your business and passing it down to your family members is very admirable. This will be a gift of unparalleled proportions no doubt. Also, I think that it will be good to keep your company instead of selling it off to a big corporation because it will allow for you to maintain control of how your company runs.

  3. Hey Nick. I completely agree with the reasons for your exit strategy, and I actually have similar views. It would be incredible to be able to pass down the benefits of your venture to your family for generations to come, and I think this is a lot more valuable than the lump sum of money you would receive in the short term. This also allows you to choose how you run your company and what values you set, and you can continue to achieve the directional goals you once set for your business.
